Popped in on my way home from nottingham pride! Lovley environment and staff. Coffee was delicious, service was quick despite a high volume of orders. Matcha is hand whisked - in will definitely be trying that when i go back again
Once upon a time Outpost Coffee, then changed hands, now Kigali. I thought, oh no, Nottingham has lost an excellent coffee shop. I am pleased to have been proven wrong. Kigali has gone from strength to strength and taken what was Outpost Coffee to another level. Excellent baristas, time permitting, only too happy to share their passion for coffee. Discerning clintelle who appreciate good coffee. The coffee Outpost Coffee plus guest coffee from some of the best roasteries. Excellent cakes. Magazines to browse. On sale Standart. With the sad loss of Ideas on Paper (closed a few days before Christmas) Kigali only location in Nottingham where Standart on sale. Beautiful ceramics on sale, including the cups used to serve coffee. A limited range of coffee paraphernalia on sale. And of course coffee beans on sale.
You won't find any posh seating, jazzy music, fancy sandwiches, toasties, baguettes or paninis; just straight up no nonsense selected blend coffee with small a selection of tasteful cakes . The Coffee was delightful.
I went here for a morning coffee. It was the best cup of coffee I’ve had in the UK. The cinnamon roll was soft and delicious as well.
I stumbled across this place after doing some research for matcha places in Nottingham (as someone who can’t have coffee) and I will be coming back! Ordered myself a matcha and later a cornflake tart and both were delicious. I am still thinking about the matcha. It was so green and was exactly the quality I was looking for. The barista and atmosphere was lovely and I was able to some work in here. Can’t wait to be back!
Visited based off matcha reviews I've seen. Best matcha I've ever had! Wish I lived in notts and could get my fix more often. Great service too. Highly recommend!
Excellent drinks, super helpful staff who answered all my questions about their coffee enthusiastically. Will definitely be back.
I ordered a flat white with oat milk, superb! The coffee has a pleasant tangy hint from probably medium-light roasted beans, very well-balanced with the heated oat milk scent, such a nice treat. The space is modern with a bright-warm vibe, but not too much. All amazing to start a nice day! Highly recommend!
